Cedar Spring Farms began production in 1996 to provide exclusively for Nonna’s the very freshest product anywhere.

The Farm grows a wide range of items, including tomatoes, lettuces, sweet peppers, mixed micro-greens, herbs and trays of wheat grass, the beautiful edible flowers for garnish and “cut” flowers for Nonna’s tables are also a part of the daily “mix”. Each product is harvested only when ready and are delivered every morning by greenhouse staff to Nonna’s.

Cedar Spring Farms uses the latest modern technology and environmentally sound practices to create healthy plants. The design is based on the greenhouses featured at Walt Disney World’s Epcot in Florida. These houses are all temperature and fertilizer controlled through a series of computer programs, and to eliminate pests, the Farm uses Integrated Pest Management relying mainly on natural predators.

All of the plants at Cedar Spring Farms are grown hydroponically, which means the plants grow in nutrient-rich water rather than soil, thus ensuring our commitment to quality.
